Pet’s Needs
-
If you want convenience, ease, affordability: Dry food is a strong baseline.
-
If your pet is picky, older, has dental issues, or doesn’t drink enough water: Wet or moist food helps with palatability and hydration.
-
If you want some variety or treats, or occasional soft/chewy food — semi-moist or treats can be used (in moderation).
-
If you prefer natural, minimally processed, high-protein diets, and are okay with more care/preparation: Raw / freeze-dried / fresh might be considered (after consulting a vet).
-
For balanced nutrition (especially adult pets), ensure the food you pick (dry, wet or raw) is labeled “complete & balanced.”
-
Always ensure clean water is available — especially if you feed dry food.
-
For mixed diets (dry + wet, or dry + freeze-dried, etc.), ensure overall nutrition remains balanced.
-
If your pet has special health concerns (sensitive digestion, obesity, allergies, dental, senior age, high activity, etc.), consult a vet — may need specialized diet or custom feeding plan.
